Group Greenhouse Gas Inventory

SZS began voluntary inventories in 2015, expanded to a group-wide greenhouse gas inventory in 2021, and added the Bac Giang plant in Vietnam in 2025, achieving 100% coverage of greenhouse gas emissions. The entire Group has passed third-party verification under the ISO 14064-1:2018 organizational greenhouse gas emission inventory standard.

SZS has developed 5 major strategies comprising 24 action plans, categorized into short-, medium-, and long-term plans based on the Group's current status and business priorities. After consulting with relevant departments, we will establish KPIs, review each initiative on a rolling basis, and adjust as appropriate to actual conditions.

    Energy Use

SZS's energy goals are to reduce energy consumption, improve energy efficiency, and achieve energy savings and emission reductions.

SZS has built its own solar PV systems at the Hukou and Bac Giang plants, with a total capacity of 2 MW and an estimated annual generation of 2 million kWh, at a total investment of NT$81.6 million. The systems were connected to the grid in January 2026 and August 2025 respectively, operating under a self-generation, self-consumption model that integrates renewable energy into daily operations.
