Building Bridges with Music, Leading Children to the Stage

2025/2026 Shulin & Yingge 7-School Harmonica Exchange Competition

On May 27, 2026, the "7-School Harmonica Exchange Competition"—guided by the Education Department of New Taipei City Government and hosted by Sanduo Elementary School—warmly commenced in the school's 3rd-floor auditorium. Harmonica club students from seven elementary schools across the Shulin and Yingge districts gathered to exchange skills and showcase their dedication and achievements in music education through individual and group performances.

SZS has long been dedicated to local educational development. For years, we have continuously sponsored the harmonica clubs of Sanduo, Datong, and Yude elementary schools, supporting the promotion of music education and arts cultivation. Through a stable influx of resources, we enable more children to experience music, cultivate interests, and build self-confidence and teamwork through practice and performance.

We look forward to this annual event; seeing children give their all on stage remains the most moving moment. On the event day, students from the seven schools took turns on stage wearing their respective school uniforms, presenting a diverse repertoire to a packed house.

■Individual Competitions: The focused dedication on each young contestant's face left a lasting impression.

■Group Performances: The stages were exceptionally brilliant—Datong Elementary School performed "Detective Conan," Yude Elementary School interpreted "The Happy Wanderer," and Sanduo Elementary School delivered "Golden." Each school brought a distinct style, yet all were equally infectious. Behind every piece lay extensive practice and perseverance by both teachers and children.

The event also presented accolades including the Best New Talent, Best Stage Presence, and Best Interpretation awards to recognize outstanding students. The venue echoed with continuous applause, creating a warm and touching atmosphere. The radiant smiles of the children holding their certificates and trophies reflected a sense of pride and joy beyond words.

While the impact of music education may not be instantaneous, it quietly sows a seed in children's hearts. Moving forward, SZS will continue to partner with schools to support the development of music education, accompanying children as they explore more possibilities on their journey of learning and growth, and creating a richer, more diverse environment for the next generation.

Guided by a spirit of never forgetting our roots, SZS continues its long-term partnership with New Taipei City's Shulin District Office on the "Winter Warmth Campaign for Solitary Seniors." This year, we upheld our community commitment by providing essential supplies and mobilizing employee volunteers for home visits, personally delivering festive New Year meals and warm wishes to elderly residents. Through tangible contributions to our hometown, we actively realize our corporate vision of "Fostering Inclusive Communities, Shaping a Flourishing Society."
